On-On!
Welcome to the Albuquerque Hash House Harriers! The ABQH3 is a hashing group from New Mexico (yes, this is one of the 50 states). Hashing is an exhilaratingly fun combination of running and/or walking, orienteering, and partying, where bands of harriers and harriettes chase human hares on 2-5 mile-long trails through town, country, rivers and any other places of interest, all in search of exercise, camaraderie, and good times. Hashing is a mixture of athleticism and sociability, hedonism and hard work; a refreshing break from the nine-to-five routine.
Our mission is to hash on every possible location in the central New Mexico area and anywhere else we can find with beer!
Our purpose is . . . we have a purpose? Oh, yeah, our purpose is to have the best time possible with the loudest voices, worst outfits, suckiest trails, cheapest beer, and cheeky attitudes.
If you are looking for a great group that doesn’t take their athletics too seriously and really likes having fun – you have found your group! Walkers or runners, as long as you are looking for a rowdy, social, fun time, you’re our kind of person!
Our hashes typically take place on Saturdays at 2:00 PM (2:30 pack away) during summer months. Winter months are typically 1:00 and 1:30 pack away, unless otherwise noted. Also from March-October, we have a special Full Moon trail on the Wednesday closest to a full moon at 6:00 PM. Check out our links on the left for our next hash or other Upcumming Hashes.
We also get together for a casual run (if you do that kinda sh*t) and drinking practice on Tuesdays at 6:00 PM. Click here to find out where we’re going next.
